Sports & Games
The school offers opportunities to students to get trained and excel in various sports and games. Every year many students are selected to represent school at the regional and national levels.
The Vidyalaya has play ground in front as well as at the back in which facilities to play basketball, volleyball etc. are available. Adjacent to the Vidyalaya lies the Sprawling naval playground with an up coming swimming pool.
Coaching is given for boys and girls in Hockey, Volleyball, Cricket and Football. Competitions in games and sports are conducted at Regional and National Levels. Special coaches have been appointed to coach the students in sports activities, which are as follows:

Sports report 2008-09
1. KV Mankhurd has literally leaped into a new and higher orbit in the field of competitive sports. With the spirit of never say die the young gladiators and the rejuvenated teams took to the arena this year and achieved feats never attained earlier.
2. The preparations had begun well ahead, with the school reopening for the new session. With emphasis on wider participations, the young boys and girls were motivated to understand the greater benefits of sports and personalities. This soaring spirit gets amply proved in the record participation by 153 students in the Cluster Events of whom 26 made their way to the Regional Sports Meet.
3. It was not just in numbers that KV Mankhurd made its mark this year. The quality of the sport persons who participated and excelled in various events is evident in the end results.
4. The KVS National Sports Meet for the year 2008-09 was held from 14 to 18 Oct.2008 at Hyderabad. The Meet was inaugurated by Honorable Shri R.L.Jamuda, Commissioner, KVS.
KV Mankhurd is proud of its contribution in the phenomenal success of the entire Mumbai Region.
